Privacy & analytics

Your enquiry and your choices.

This notice explains the information used when you contact Webamondo and the optional analytics used to improve this website.

Webamondo Ltd.

Webamondo Ltd is responsible for the information you submit through this website. For an enquiry or a question about your data, email hello@webamondo.co.uk or call 01423 609 083.

Information used to respond to you.

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. Company, platform and store URL are optional. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in the message.

This information is used to respond, assess the work you need and arrange the next step. The enquiry may also include the page you contacted us from and the referring website’s hostname. It is not used to add you to a marketing mailing list.

If online delivery is available, the website sends the enquiry through Resend to Webamondo’s inbox. If it is unavailable, the form opens a prepared draft in your own email app. You must send that draft to complete the enquiry; opening it alone does not send anything.

Processing an enquiry allows us to take steps towards a possible engagement at your request. Other correspondence may be retained where needed to manage the business relationship or fulfil applicable obligations. Records are reviewed and kept only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Analytics are optional.

Vercel hosts the website. When you allow analytics, Vercel Web Analytics measures visits and actions such as opening the contact page, clicking a phone or email link, starting the form, successful online submissions and delivery failures. A click or an opened email draft is recorded as interest, not as a delivered enquiry.

The analytics code does not send your form fields, name, email, store URL or message as event properties. Page URL query strings and fragments are removed before analytics events are sent.

Your choice is stored in your browser under webamondo-analytics. Analytics are not loaded until you allow them. You can decline and still use the site, and you can change the choice at any time. Analytics therefore describe visitors who opted in and may undercount total visits.

Read Vercel’s analytics privacy information, Vercel’s privacy policy and Resend’s privacy policy for their handling of service data.

Hosting, email and external services.

The hosting service receives technical request information needed to serve and operate the website, such as IP addresses, browser details and request times. The contact endpoint records delivery outcomes for fault diagnosis without including enquiry fields in its application logs.

Email delivery and correspondence are handled by the relevant email providers. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable arrangements. Links to client websites and other services take you to sites with their own privacy notices.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, or raise a concern about its use, by contacting Webamondo. Requests are handled subject to applicable rights and any obligations to retain records. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
